The world now accepts that 21st century is India’s century, says PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi told cheering Indian community members at the SAP Centre that he was seeing a “vibrant picture” of India in California.
In what was termed as PM Modi’s second Madison moment, Modi addressed a huge crowd of Indian diaspora at SAP Centre in California.
“I am coming here after 25 years. I see a lot of change here…I see a vibrant picture of India in California,” PM Narendra Modi said in his address to over 18000 Indians.
“I see a shine in people’s eyes and dreams and the aspiration to do something big,” the Prime Minister said.
Narendra Modi also paid a tribute to Indian freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.

* Today is 28th September in India. It is the birth anniversary of the brave son of India, Bhagat Singh.
* I am coming here after almost 25 years and I am seeing a lot of changes including new faces.

* Your fingers created magic on the keyboard and the computer and this gave India a new identity. Your skill & commitment is wonderful.
*Today in the entire world India has a new identity, a new image. The old image has been forced down, and there is a reason.
* I see it as Brain Deposit, out to look for opportunities. When that comes this brain will give back to India with interests.
* Our Sikh brothers came here years ago & began living here. When Indian wanted freedom here too there was a movement for India’s freedom.
* Gopal Mukherjee was the first Indian graduate from Stanford in 1940 says Modi as he cites examples of Indians connected with California.
* The world today believes that the 21st century belongs to India, something we believed in for years.
* It is being believed that the 21st century is India’s century.
* I had assured you I will work round the clock for the wellbeing of the people.
* I have faith in the nation because India is youthful. 65% of our population is under the age of 35.
