Baadshaho: going strong at the Box Office

Mumbai: Milan Luthria’s ‘Baadshaho’ starring Ajay Devgn is going strong at the Box Office at the end of the second weekend. The film which also stars Emraan Hashmi, Ileana D’Cruz, Esha Gupta, Vidyut Jamwal and Sanjay Mishra has impressed moviegoers.

Despite a couple of new releases, ‘Baadshaho’ has been able to draw audiences to the theatres.

According to a report in Bollywoodlife.com, ‘Baadshaho’ has minted Rs 71.21 crores at the Box Office so far.

September 2 Saturday Day (2) Rs 15.60 Crore

September 3 Sunday Day (3) Rs 15.10 Crore

September 10 Sunday Day (10) Rs 3.03 Crore

In the second week, ‘Baadshaho’ competed with ‘Poster Boys’ and ‘Daddy’ at the Box Office. Yet, the performance of the film over the second weekend has been impressive.

Set in the backdrop of the Emergency period, the heist drama is one of the biggest releases this year and the second best performer after Akshay Kumar’s ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ in the second half of this year.

Will ‘Baadshaho’ make it to the Rs 100 crore club? Only time will tell.
