Five dead in Thane building collapse

At least five persons including a woman have been killed in a building collapse last night at Thakurli in Thane district, a fire brigade official on Wednesday said.

Two more persons are feared trapped under the rubble and rescue work is in progress, the fire brigade official told PTI.

Two-storeyed building ‘Matrukrupa’ located at Cholegaon in Thakurli collapsed shortly before midnight, the official said.
