New trailer of ‘Game of Thrones’ season 6 out

The sixth season of the Emmy-winning series, based on the George R.R. Martin novels, is set to premiere on April 24.

The first full-length trailer of ‘Game of Thrones’ season 6 was released by television network HBO.

Set to an acoustic version of musician Chris Isaak’s ‘Wicked Game’, the new footage teases the return and demise of some of the show’s leading characters, including that of Jon Snow, essayed by actor Kit Harington, reports variety.com.

In the trailer, Tyrion Lannister says, “You’re in the great game now, and the great game is terrifying”; the Boltons are shown to be at war. The first look of Euron Greyjoy was also revealed.

HBO recently decided not to issue media screeners of “Game of Thrones” to avoid leaked copies online.
