Pratyusha”s suicide: Rahul Raj Singh’s former girlfriend Saloni Sharma admits she ‘hit them’

New Delhi: In a twisting tale of love gone wrong, television actress Pratyusha Banerjee aka Anandi from Balika Vadhu left this world. The young and popular actress’ alleged suicide not only shocked her fans but has also let open a can of worms related to her personal life.

Rahul Raj Singh, who was Pratyusha’s boyfriend has been granted interim relief, yet all eyes are on him for various accusations hurled at him. In an interview with Times Of India, Rahul’s former girlfriend Saloni Sharma has finally broken her silence and reacted on being called the ‘other’ woman in Rahul-Pratyusha’s life.

Saloni, who also happens to be from the television industry told TOI that she did assault Pratyusha and Rahul in February, this year but only in in retaliation after being hit by them first.

As shocking as her revelations are, the case can now take a new turn if Saloni’s statements stand true. Saloni further revealed that she was dating Rahul years before Pratyusha came into the scene. She was quoted as saying,

“I was done with them and was trying to move on but it was my money (that she had given Rahul to run an event management firm) I was concerned about. Rahul wasn’t paying me back… It made me angry and I landed there to ask for my dues. On seeing me, Pratyusha and Rahul both assaulted me and physically kicked me out of the flat. I was hysterical and refused to leave the premises. So they came down and that’s when I hit them back out of utter humiliation”.

She even filed a case against Rahul and Pratyusha with the Bangur Nagar police station. However, later withdrew it. She said, “I later withdrew the charges of assault and cheating because both of them requested me to and I was advised by cops to avoid public attention.” It is the same cops handling the suicide case now, she said. “They are completely aware of what really had happened that evening contrary to what is going around.”

Saloni has recorded her statement with the Bangur Nagar police station, reportedly.
