The Jungle Book box office collections marches towards Rs. 100 cr

Neel Sethi starrer The Jungle Book has been growing constantly despite Shah Rukh Khan getting away with all the attention for his recent release Fan.

Directed by Jon Favreau, the film which has been released worldwide in English and in Hindi languages is soon to enter the Rs. 100 cr club as it has already earned a whopping Rs. 91.16 cr in mere nine days of its release. Unaffected by its contemporary, the film blossomed at the box office even during the weekend.

In the second week of its release, The Jungle Book earned Rs. 8.02 cr on Friday and Rs. 8.51 cr on Saturday. At this pace, the film might as well cross the Rs 100 cr mark in just 10 days as we await today’s collections.

The film, which is adapted from the famous Rudyard Kipling novel, has voice cast including Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong’o, Scarlett Johansson, Giancarlo Esposito and Christopher Walken. Priyanka Chopra has lent her voice for the Hindi version of the film.
