Anna Hazare, Arvind Kejriwal to unite over protest against Land ordinance today

New Delhi: The second day of social activist Anna Hazare’s protest against Land ordinance will be a reminiscent of 2011 anti-corruption movement as the former’s old companion Arvind Kejriwal will on Tuesday join him at Jantar Mantar.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday sought Hazare’s blessings by touching his feet at Maharashtra Sadan here. He was also accompanied by his close aide and Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia.With Hazare and Kejriwal standing side by side, today’s protest is expected to draw a huge gathering at Jantar Mantar.

While Sisodia parried a question whether Kejriwal would share the dais, Hazare had earlier said that AAP leaders were welcome to sit with the protesters.

“We discussed about the Delhi election results. We also discussed about the Land Acquisition Ordinance and how AAP could extend support to him (Hazare),” Sisodia said.
