Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung ‘a good man with bad political bosses’: Arvind Kejriwal
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday termed Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung as a ‘good man’, with whom he was locked in a bitter tussle over several issues.
Kejriwal’s comments on Jung comes at a time when the Aam Aadmi Party has long accused the Delhi LT Governor of acting on the behest of BJP-led central government.
Earlier the AAP convenor had described Jung as a ‘BJP agent’.
A day after BJP BJP MP Udit Raj on Friday demanded the “removal” of Jung, Kejriwal today took to his Twitter account to express his views. He wrote:
Reacting to the BJP MP’s demand to remove Jung, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that instead of making statements to the media, he should directly talk to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this regard.
“Udit Raj’s party has its own government .If he wants to remove the LG, he can. Why is he speaking to the media? He should directly talk to the Prime Minister,” Sisodia said here.
