Guinness World Record ring weighing 64 kilos featured in Welcome Back

The makers of Welcome Back have featured the world’s heaviest ring, weighing 64 kilos, in their film. This gold ring, which has found a place in the Guinness Book of World Records, is the one Anil Kapoor gifts to his lady-love. For the shoot, the diamond-studded ring was apparently displayed on a trolley for the first time at the jewellery showroom in Dubai’s gold market, where it is originally kept.

Says director Anees Bazmee, “There was a huge crowd in and around the market. We canned the shot in one day amidst tight security and ensured the ring was back in the shop’s safe-keeping immediately thereafter.”
