Huge Fire Breaks Out In West Delhi’s Pitampura

A huge fire broke out in a building near a Metro Station in West Delhi’s Pitampura on Sunday.

The fire department said it received a call for the fire at around 4:25 pm and dispatched 13 fire tenders.

Early reports suggest that the fire broke out in the generator compartment on the top floor.

Security guards saw smoke saw smoke coming out from a ventilation panel on the tenth floor of the building and raised an alarm.

The fire broke out on the top floor of the building.
People posted images of billowing clouds of smoke on social media.

There have been no reports of any casualties so far.

The building is close to the Netaji Subhash Place metro station.
