Sony Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact launch expected in India on October 21

Sony is hosting a special event in India on October 21, where it is expected to launch the new Xperia Z5 range of smartphones. Sony has introduced three new smartphones with its latest flagship series, which are the Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Premium and Xperia Z5 Compact.

The Xperia Z5 Premium is the world’s first 4K-screen smartphone and was showcased by the company at the IFA 2015 event.

Features of the Sony Xperia Z5 are: 5.2-inch full HD screen, Android Lollipop 5.1, 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 (MSM8994); Adreno 430 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage (expandable to 200 GB). The camera in the Z5 series is the 23 mp in the rear and 5 mp camera on the front. The battery for the Z5 is 2900 mAh.

The Z5 Premium has the similar specs as the Z5 other than the 4K screen. It also has a bigger battery 3430 mAh.
The Z5 Compact has 2GB RAM, 4.6-inch HD screen and a 2700 mAh. The rest of the specifications are the same as other two smartphones. Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Premium will be available in both single SIM and dual-SIM variants.
